College Savings Tax Deductible

Question: What’s the best way to save money for my daughter’s college tuition?
I was looking into 529 plans and came across something called “Coverdell Education Savings Accounts.” This is all very confusing, and the websites that have 529 plans don’t really explain them very wel. Are they tax deductible? In a nutshell, what is the best strategy? I want to set aside about $3600 per year for the next 18 years.

My parents just saved money in a savings account, I think. It worked pretty well!
