Question: College 529 Plan money for Foreign student?

I am a indian citizen and working on h1b visa in usa.I am planning to take college 529 Plan for my son. He is 4 yrs old. I did some research and I’m thinking this is one the good option will allow to save money for college education. This money will be tax free and get some rebate on state tax also.
If my son will do his study outside USA (e.g. India) will he still able to get this money from 529 Plan ?? every place it says ‘U S dept of education accredited institute’ .Can anybody suggest me where should i find this information.
