College Savings Georgia

Question: Which college do you think I should choose?
It’s between Arizona State University (in my home state) and Georgia Tech. Here are the stats of each college (I’m going to undergrad school and majoring in Biomedical Engineering).
ASU: It’s close to home. I got almost everything paid for. It’s ranked #24 in my major. It has amazing dorms. It has a great honors college. It may not have as many resources for research.
GT: It’s far from home. I got barely anything paid for; i’d have to take out all my life’s savings to pay for it. It’s ranked #3 in my major. It has decent dorms. It definitely has many resources for research.
Both are oversimplified descriptions, but I’m sure that you get the gist. Tell me where you think I should go and why.
Answer: I assume you have a lot of friends going to ASU. Therefore, as an out of state student who has traveled quite some distance, I would say for for Georgia Tech. You will meet some many new people, but still have your close friends from home.
It appears that you have toured both campuses from your description. It really comes down to two things that I can see:
1-Do you want to have a great time in college with good, but mediocre academics (ASU) or still have a good time in college but with greater academics (GT)?
2-Do you want to meet a lot of new people (GT) or continue to hang out with some the of the same people while meeting new people (ASU)?
Tough decision but whatever you choose, just know that college is blast. Enjoy the rest of your senior year as it will go by quickly!
