Question: When players declare early for the NFL draft, do they finish their spring semesters of college?

I guess this question would/could apply to seniors as well…..although it seems they would have more incentive to go back in the spring if it meant graduating in 5 months. I saw where Stafford and Moreno from Georgia are entering the draft, just curious if they will enroll for another semester of school or not?

Maybe the school would ask them not to…to save scholarship money? Anybody know..

Answer: Stafford and Moreno will not be enrolling in another semester of school. The reason they declared for the draft on 1/7 instead of closer to the deadline is because classes start on 1/8 at UGA. Therefore, they won’t be enrolling in class while they prepare for the draft. Also, they will free up their two scholarships so that the program can use them on remaining recruits.
