Question: What is the best way to save for college?

Need options like bonds, cd’s, investments. Do not want stocks or small percentage savings accounts.

Answer: I highly suggest you see a financial advisor. there are many advisors out there that don’t charge a dime for their time. they can help you out and tell you what’s best for you and your current and future situation. they also have access to waaayyy better percentage rates than banks.
