Question: I want to start a 529 college savings plan for my granchildren?
My question is, what is the best plan. They live in Michigan and I live in Fl
Answer: Depends on what you mean by “best.” If you’re looking for the best return, you’ll have to research the various plans and see how they are doing year to year. What would probably be best for you is to invest in your own state’s plan because you might be able to deduct your contributions to the plan.
